AL DR. JOSE GREGORIO HERNANDEZ CISNEROS
Oh, Dios misericordioso que te has dignado escoger a Venezuela para ser la Patria de tu siervo JOSE GRE GORIO, quien prevenido por tu gracia practicó desde niño las más heroicas virtudes, en especial una Fe ardiente, una Pureza angelical y una Caridad encendida, siendo ésta la escala por la cual su alma voló a tu divino encuentro cuando recibiste el holocausto de su vida. Concédenos que brille pronto sobre su frente la aureola de los santos, si es para tu mayor gloria y honor de la Santa Iglesia Te lo pedimos por los méritos de Cristo Nuestro Señor

Oh, merciful God, you have deigned to choose Venezuela to be the Homeland of your servant JOSE GRE GORIO, who, warned by your grace, practiced since he was a child the most heroic virtues, especially an ardent Faith, an angelic Purity and a burning Charity, being This is the scale by which his soul flew to your divine encounter when you received the holocaust of his life. Grant that the halo of saints may soon shine on his forehead, if it is for your greatest glory and honor of the Holy Church. We ask this through the merits of Christ Our Lord.
